I’m a certified NeuroCoach based in London, the UK.
Drawing on over 20 years in the retail sector, I work with ambitious entrepreneurs, busy professionals, and business leaders who value personal development, people who know they’re capable of achieving so much more and want to put strategies and structures in place to take their achievements to the next level.
I studied and completed The Coaching Academy’s Coach Training Programme, the world’s leading training provider.
My study of Neuroscience Coaching and Leadership from, The Optimind Institute, underpins everything I do. My specialisms included Neuro Spirituality, Neuro Health, Neuro Relationships, and Neuro Entrepreneurship.
Who I've worked with
I’m delighted to be working as a mentor for The Link, an initiative in the UAE that provides an active community platform where career women can find support to advance professionally. Its mission is to “empower women through learning and developmental initiatives, nurturing female talent and strengthening their leadership capacity.”
I also mentored with the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women, having passed their selection process.
My early career as a pharmacy technician instilled in me the importance of taking a rigorous scientific approach, with a close attention to detail, accuracy, and results-based methodology.
I am delighted to be a part of Brainz Magazine as an Executive Contributor. Executive Contributors at Brainz Magazine are handpicked and invited to contribute because of their knowledge and valuable insight within their area of expertise.
Motivation is a key factor
Motivation is a key factor. We all occasionally lose our way, and we’re not always sure why. Some days, it seems like we can conquer the world. But on others, every obstacle seems insurmountable.
Together, we’ll work on what works for you.
The smallest changes, when rooted in science, can lead to real and long-lasting change.
Informed by the latest developments in neuroscience, I help my clients better understand the hidden triggers and habits that drive them, and sometimes derail their own best efforts.
My studies have shown me the long-term dangers of cortisol, the stress hormone, which can impair the immune system.
For many overstretched executives and entrepreneurs, it’s the hidden killer. Living with high levels of cortisol is like driving with the brakes on.
Surgeons use cortisol during organ transplants to suppress the immune system.
Adopting better brain habits can help you control your emotions and cortisol levels.
As your coach, I’ll help you see beyond yourself and the challenges ahead. I’ll be your guide on the side: an adviser, strategist, cheerleader, and sounding board.
I’ll work with you, in confidence, with an open mind, and without judgement. Each client relationship is built on mutual respect and shared endeavour.
Coaching is a one-to one relationship. It is a way of supporting the individual in a non-directive way. Coaching supports you to identify your goals, explore the options and the actions to take to reach those goals.
A NeuroCoach is a coach who has in-depth knowledge on brain science training that can be used to explain and/or enhance coaching strategies.
By understanding your brain and mind, you can improve your brain health, thought patterns, habits, decision-making, relationships, emotional brain, productivity and presence.
- Help you to clarify exactly what it is that you want to achieve
- Evaluate how possible it is to achieve it
- Help you to identify any obstacles you may have to overcome along the way
- Look at all your options and support you to take action to achieve those important goals
As your coach, I will be there to encourage, motivate and support you. You will be listened to and respected. My role is not to tell you what you should do or to give advice, however, with your permission, I may ask permission to make a suggestion which you may explore or ignore.
Coaching is NOT counselling, psychotherapy, mentoring or teaching. Coaches know you have all the answers locked away within you, and that you are the expert in your life. A coach can help you unlock doors in your mind you did not know were closed.
Each session can last between 30-60 minutes. At the beginning you will be asked to review the previous actions and set a goal for the session. At the end you will be asked to summarise what has been agreed. You should allow longer-up to 90 minutes- for the first session. Sessions can take place weekly, fortnightly or over a day if more than one individual is being coached. Sessions take place via Zoom, Skype, and over the phone. Face to face sessions can be arranged.
